TIPS ON USING OUR INFRARED SAUNA Bring your favorite book, magazine, or iPod. Our Infrared Saunas have a built-in stereo system inside the cedar cabin that can play regular non-mp3 CDs. The pages of your book or your magazine will not be affected because there is no steam unlike a conventional sauna. You can sit in our Infrared Sauna in your regular clothes or you can bring a bathing suit or shorts. Either way, infrared rays will penetrate the skin up to about 2 inches in depth. You can shower here at the spa or you may choose to shower at home. Recent studies have shown that it is best not to drink water before or while in the sauna. This forces your cells to release their water thereby flushing out toxins. After your sauna, we will provide you with a bottle of pure clean water to rehydrate your cells. We will also provide you with 3 towels. We use organic natural glass and surface spray cleaners to disinfect and sanitize our Infrared Sauna. They are non-toxic, no fumes, hypo-allergenic, free and clear of perfumes and dyes. We would love you to come in and experience an Infrared Sauna session but unfortunately, it is not advisable to use the infrared sauna if you have any one or more of the following situations:
